Summary
A Roseburg native, Matthew Driver graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1980. After residency training in Omaha, Nebraska, he spent three years at the Blackfeet Indian Hospital in Browning, Montana, then returned to Roseburg, working as an Emergency Medicine physician for 15 years.
One of the founders of Evergreen Family Medicine, Dr. Driver currently practices in and is the medical director of Evergreen Urgent Care. His wife, Susan, is the Urgent Care nurse manager. Together they have seven grown children and several grandchildren.
He says that the North Umpqua River, where he enjoys hiking and flyfishing for steelhead, is what brought him back to Roseburg.
