Dr. Matthew Stewart Ellis, MD

After having a surgery at NFRMC, my surgery site became infected. I was terrified but then I met Dr. Ellis. He was caring but very straightforward about what I was willing to do to get better. His RN Janelle is awesome too. I’m almost healed and I will actually miss his whole offfice. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ellis is the laziest, most arrogant, condescending, unknowledgable, uncaring doctor we've encountered in my Mom's 4 year cancer battle. He lacks all basic human decencies and treated my Mom horribly. He was not only ineffective, but his lack of knowledge and refusal to do his job may have sped up her tumors growth. I would go to a vet clinic before I would go to Dr. Ellis.

Dr. Ellis is supposed to be a wound care doctor, but he only looked at my Mom's wound once, AFTER we asked him to. He is lazy, uncaring, lack empathy and basic human decency. He shamed my Mom, who is suffering from cancer, when she was too sick to make appointments for hyperbaric oxygen treatments; yet had no problem cancelling or oversleeping causing patients to miss treatments himself. He had no real answers to any questions posed to him regarding my Mom's non healing wound, and had no desire to be bothered with being asked questions. I would advise anyone needing true answers and help to going anywhere other than here.

Came in with severe wound on foot. Dr. Ellis is efficient, thorough, and knowledgeable. He is also friendly, compassionate and listens. I am blessed to be treated by him.
