Dr. Matthew Walker Fannell, MD

I have had my fare share of emergency room visits due to my chronic illness, but my experience with Dr. Fannell was the first one where I felt like I was being treated like an actual human being rather than a person at a deli counter waiting for my number to be called. Dr. Fannell was fast, responsive, and incredibly intelligent. I usually get raised eyebrows when I describe my medical history, but Dr. Fannell understood my condition and was very confident in managing my health. I don't hope to revisit the ER anytime soon, but if I do, I hope Dr. Fannell is the first to greet me.

I never liked visiting the doctor. I generally don't trust doctors due to past horrific experiences. After spending several minutes with Dr. Fannell, my whole perspective changed. He is an outstanding physician and a true scholar. In addition, he kept me informed about my illness and made the whole process a team effort rather than my previous doctors who just told me what they were going to do. He is one of a kind!

Dr. Fannell is the epitome of a emergency medicine physician. He treated my injury quickly and effectively. I never for a second felt concerned and can't wait to see him again!
