Dr. Matthew A Felgus, MD

Dr. Felgus is an excellent psychiatrist. He listens and offers many other treatment encourages many other treatment options other than, or in addition to, prescribing psychotropic medications. His availability is outstanding and is easily reachable. He truly has a deep understanding of addiction and/or mental/ emotional difficulties.

I came to Dr. Felgus a complete mess! A few years later - I am having the best years of my life! He takes time to really listen to his patients. Together, we have found my underlying issues that have been covered by substance abuse for many years. I could never thank him enough!! - MS

I have found Dr. Felgus to be personable and professional. He truly understands addiction and is willing to work with me to find the solution that works for me. He is compassionate and empathetic, all the while holding me to account for my own actions. Highly recommended.

the thing about dr. felgus was he used to be dr. abbey felgus.....he now does not like female patients.....dr felgus practiced in massachusetts as both a she ,,,then became a he......not very nice to patients

Warning be careful using Dr. Felgus....if you have an eating disorder and he puts you on medication, most which cause you to gain weight, he does not seem to think its necessary to monitor your weight...what is that about....isn't that what he is being paid to do ...monitor side effects of medication includng weight gain.....to not weigh a patient who you are seeing monthly and charging big fees is just disgraceful...that is bad medicine...find another psychiatrist if you have a problem ..dr. felgus is not good for anyone
