Dr. Matthew D Ficca, DDS

Dr. Ficca, a native of Maryland, graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in 1996. He immediately entered Temple University Dental School where he was a member of both the Oral Surgery and Stomatognathic honor societies. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Ficca continued his education as a General Practice Resident at East Carolina University - Brody School of Medicine. He then practiced general dentistry for three years in Fairfax, Virginia.. In 2004 he chose to further his education at Virginia Commonwealth University - Medical College of Virginia where he completed a three year fellowship in the field of Periodontics and Dental Implants. Dr. Ficca is trained and certified to provide oral and intravenous conscious sedation. He is an active member in many local, state, and national dental organizations.
