Dr. Matthew Foley, MD

I made an appointment with Mr. Foley office. Few days letter I was call to have an ultrasound done. I asked the person calling if I could go to a location convenient to me, her answer was, that I must had the procedure done at their location. I agreed, even if it was inconvenient. At the date of my appointment, I was ushered to the consultation room, his assistant came in and asked me to take of my shoes and pants to see my legs, was not examined by her. She gave me an overview using a wall poster, of what causes varicose veins. Asked me to wait for Mr. Foley. Mr. Foley and assistant showed up, he sat at his computer terminal and asked his assistant if she had given me any information, she responded yes. His interaction with me was to give me abbreviated version of what she provided it. That if I wanted to go for worth with either of the procedures I need it to wore compression stockings for 3 months, before approaching my Insurance because they won’t approve any procedures… before that time. I was in shock by what was taken place, He did not examined my legs, feet, not even look at them from his seating position. Did not address, what was found through the ultrasound that his office insisted that need it to be done at their location. My question to him was if he had any literature to provide me with to learn and educate myself, regarding my condition. He answered, if I had access to the internet because the information was online. I follow up by asking if he had anything else to tell me. No. I think his assistant felt sorry for me and before I finished dressing up, she open the door and handed me a print out with information addressing legs circulation. Dr. Foley has been taking care of me for over a year now & he is just great. Knows what he is doing. Going to start dialysis soon & he's put in my access port. Very caring both in office & hospital. Couldn't ask for a better doctor!!
