Dr. Matthew David Gold, MD

First Of all Dr Gold entered my room at 11 pm at night to do this consult. He was rude and when I was giving him information about allergies he basically told me that it was impossible on certain drugs, well i just ignored him because I know how my body reacted. He also was asking me to draw a picture like he did, remember words in the same order as him and try to figure out a word math problem! I explained I was doing this as the dr wanted this consult but i have been under the care of a Neurological headache specialist for several years and he said he heard of him, and we discussed my treatment he said oh i would not have you still on that if it didn’t work. I never said it didn’t work that wasn’t the question. my Dr happens to be one of the top specialists in the state. I would not seek this dr out and if i had been referred to him would have walked out of his office the minute i was-told I was giving wrong information about how my body reacted to medications.

Dr.Gold is a gentle knowledgeable who listened to my problems and suggested some sound advice which helped me to improve my well being .We spoke at length on suggestions to improve my sleep problems and I always feel relieved when I leave his office.

The only thing memorable was how horrible he was. He drew blood with the pin sticks during the neurology test. He was rude and abusive. He has no business seeing patients. I refused to let him enter my room after his abrasive cruel treatment.

I had a very good experience when I saw Dr Gold for possible carpal tunnel issues. He went into detail when discussing my condition and let me view some relevent information on his computer. Dr Gold then referred me to the appropriate specialist who was able to help me. I found him to be pretty thorough.

I totally agree with previous patient/comments re: no compassion, rude, arrogant, condescending. I went to this Dr for help, I left feeling worse than when i arrived at appointment. Thank God my husband was with me, as he told Dr. Gold we are finished here, ending this Dr's condescending/belittling attitude towards me, as we walked out of appointment.

This guy shouldn't even be a doctor - clown - rude - no patience at all
