Dr. Matthew Jacob Gramzow, MD

Since the accident in 89 I've seen more than 25 doctors, many of whom I've found to be deeply troubling. I've seen Dr. Gramzow 3 times since moving to the Grants Pass area. Dr. Gramzow is a very good doctor. He's easy to talk with, listens well, gives good advice, and has made the right decisions that have helped me greatly. I would recommend Dr. Gramzow to anyone seeking a very good doctor.

My husband had a dry, nagging cough. We made an appointment with Dt. Granzow. He listened to him and said he found nothing & to check back in 6 months. Four days later at urgent care, we find out he has a heart murmur, and ultimately congestive health failure. I needed to change my anti-depressant medication. The Dr. knew I had ulcers and could not take aspirin, but he put me on Zoloft, which is like an aspirin to the stomach. After 3 weeks, I thought I had ulcers again, then it finally dawned on me to check the side affects of Zoloft. It was a good 6 weeks of taking anti acids and changing my diet to bland to get my stomach healed again. I then went to Dr. Gramzow regarding the above problems, wanting to confront him. My blood pressure was 175/93 and my oxygen was 89. After talking about the Zoloft and his disregard for my health, I talked to him about the mis-diagnosis on my husband. He really had nothing to say. He was then getting up to dismiss me and I asked him about… my vitals; was he going to address the fact my oxygen was so low and my blood pressure so high. He sat back down, but with a disgusted look. I think Dr. Gramzow is not a good doctor. His lackadaisical attitude and his attention to detail is very lacking. One other thing, I went to him with poison oak EVERYWHERE, my face, neck, belly, both arms. I needed a shot of prednisone, so it would take effect immediately and give me some relief. He gave me 10 pills, which did little. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
