Is it normal protocol for to have nurses private message patients and form relationships that are not medically related? Disappointed in the professional moral of this office.

I've seen Dr Hammit for years for various issues. Not only an amazing Dr but one of the kindest caring men I've ever met. The same can be said for his amazing staff.

Amazing bedside manner!

Just had 1 appointment was very direct, I like that in Doctors.

He is a very caring and experienced doctor. He was able to get me back to working out without performing surgery. Two other doctors wanted to operate on me without trying non-surgical treatment first.

I saw Dr Hammit after being released by an orthopedic doctor in Conroe, Tx (emergency room referral). I had been treated for an ankle fracture. After 5 months, I was still in an extreme amount of pain, when I was told I had CRS & released. Dr. Hammit's first move was an MRI that revealed a completely torn ligament. He did my surgery & treated me until I had was healed & had no more pain. He is very nice, cares about his patients. He listens to your concerns & explains things fully, in a way you can understand. I wish I'd gone to him from day one. I KNOW I would have been treated with more compassion & received a lot better care than what I got from "the mistake"! I recommend him to anyone. On a scale of 1-10, he rates an 11. You definitely WON'T be sorry!

Dr. Hammit is a great surgeon. He takes time with his patient's, explains things in a way you can understand. All the doctors at Texas Orthopedics and Sports Medicine appear to be well experienced. However, I have dealt with Dr. Hammit for a few years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I chose Dr. Hammit for an ankle problem that had been dealing with for almost a year at the time. I went to a QUACK of a Dr. in Conroe, that I had been referred to by the hospital in Cleveland. My personal physician asked me to see another orthopedic surgeon when my ankle was still in severe pain from a fracture 5 months previously. The "Q" released me with a diagnosis for my severe pain being that I had Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. The first thing Dr. Hammit asked for was an MRI of my ankle. The diagnosis...a ligament that was completely torn, requiring surgery. Dr. Hammit is an awesome guy. He does not rush you in & out of the office as if you were being sold in an auction barn. He takes all the time you need, explaining things & answering questions. He was always on time for my appointments, with very little time spent in the waiting room & has excellent bedside manner. Lastly, he did not release me from his care until I had plenty of time to heal & had no more pain. I… couldn't have asked for a better doctor. On a scale of 1-10, I'd definitely rate him an 11!
