When he walks into the room you can tell he has spent time prior to your visit to review your medical history so he can really spend quality time with the patient.

My daughter has been seeing Dr Hardin for 3 years and likes him very much. Recently she went in because of an extremely sore throat and his assistant did a throat culture. Dr said he thought it could be strep throat and prescribed antibiotics. After two days we saw no improvement and received no follow up call on the outcome of the throat culture. So we called and were told the results were negative. I asked when they had received the results and his secretary/asst., told me the day before. So why no call because if its not strep throat chances are the antibiotics are doing no good and we're not treating the problem, and, in fact, it's getting worse? She got very pissy and said she'd speak to the doctor. I asked when we could expect to hear back, and again in a pissy mood, she said when he could get around to it. Absolutely unacceptable. We've wasted two days mis-treating her ailment, I'm not sure if or when I would have received results of the throat culture if I hadn't called them… and I'm not sure if ill hear back from them now on what our next step should be aside from going to urgent care. Meanwhile my daughter continues to be in pain, can't work, sleep, eat, etc.

We loved seeing Dr Hardin. My 2 small children looked forward to his visits. He has great bedside manner, and always listens to what I had to say in regard to the health of my kids,as well as my own symptoms, which is difficult to find in a Dr. We were sad to have to leave his practice after we moved out of the area. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

While Dr. Hardin and his nurse were polite, spent time answering questions, both on the phone and in person, the quality of information passed along lacked specific details, in depth analysis of pros and cons of any diagnosis. Answers to questions were slightly more than superficial or avoided. This conflict holds true with barely enough information about prescriptions where potential side effects are considered toxic. He did not return two phone calls concerning the medications placed five days apart. His nurse, after quite a bit of cajoling, finally read test and lab results over the phone -- without giving ranges, skipping over specific results (the numbers) in favor of bland, vague answers. One of the smart choices his patients could make is getting a copy of his notations immediately before leaving the office and check them for errors or updates.

Dr. Hardin is a very professional, respectful Physician. He takes the time to listen and respond to your concerns. He is very thorough,yet is careful not to send a patient for unnecessary tests or procedures. He is a very good Physician. Only complaint is wait time in the office. I have waited on average 25-35 minutes past a scheduled appointment time. The office needs to do a better job scheduling appointments,
