Dr. Matthew Hess, MD

Dr. Matthew Hess is an internal medicine physician with a specialty focus in hospital medicine. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University Alan and Marlene Norton College of Medicine and completed his residency at SUNY Health Science Center. With 16 years of experience in practice, Dr. Hess brings extensive expertise to patient care. He is fluent in English.

Dr. Hess practices at multiple locations throughout Syracuse, New York, including Upstate University Hospital, Saint Joseph's Hospital Health Center, and Crouse Hospital. His clinical focus includes managing high blood pressure and treating hypertensive emergencies. He also provides comprehensive care that may include coordinating physical therapy and strength training programs for patients when appropriate.
