Dr. Matthew B Hoch, DO

Matthew Hoch is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Hoch is a graduate of the University of Scranton where he completed his premedical studies. After two years of working for a pharmaceutical company as a laboratory technician helping to manufacture the meningitis vaccine, Dr. Hoch went on to attend medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Hoch completed his internship at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, GA and subsequently completed his residency in anesthesiology and pain medicine fellowship at Walter National Military Medical Center located in Bethesda, Md. He served as a physician in the United States Army for 10 years where he was involved in academic medicine. Dr. Hoch found this work to be rewarding as he was able to help train future generations of pain medicine physicians as well as take care of injured soldiers.
