Dr. Matthew G Hodges, DO

I visited the doctor to receive direct treatment such as an injection. I was denied the injection and sent to physical therapy. I contacted another physician and was given an injection immediately.

My first and only appointment was not a positive experience and little was accomplished. I made an appointment with another provider at another facility and received the medical help I needed.

Gives conflicting information.. had one injection it did not give me relief and I was suppose to have a series of theee nerve blocks. If the first didn’t work we proceed to the second and then maybe the third. After the first injection since I didn’t get much relief which is normal, he refused to do the second and said I needed to see a back surgeon. When I saw him in the office he told me specifically to run if a Dr. wanted to do back surgery. After the first call back by his assistant, his recommendation was for me to see a surgeon. Really??? Very confusing so I am still in severe pain and now do not know what to do. This procedure was after I had went through a series of needle tests, MRI, steroid pills, steroid injection, psychical therapy, ultrasound therapy and nerve block was my last resort. So thanks a lot for not taking care of your patient and just sending me on my way with no real explanation or answers!!! He is suppose to be the best in this area? Hum I don’t think so.

Dr Hodges was amazing. He takes as much time as necessary to explain the diagnosis and treatment options. He’s very kind, empathetic and gentle. I highly recommend him.

The rudest, lying, using people time and giving useless services, just taking our money, our insurance money and leave you in the dark. Recommending people who just rips us off even worst. Being in terrible pain does keep these rotten to the core people from sticking it to you.Their staff treats people like cattle. Lying on them, and humiliating them to the core. What awful people who just wants your money and doesn't care nothing about you as a human being. Never seen such crooked no good people in my life. They never do anything on time and just make you wait to pay them.

After visiting three or four doctors, I was referred to Dr. Hodges who accurately diagnosed my problem, treated it and I have no more pain. Thankyou.

Dr. Hodges is very professional and I fully trust his diagnosis. The only issue I have is that his staff is a little curt and believe they can't make a mistake.

Dr Hodges is very thorough. He does everthing he can to make sure you are feeling better. Spends plenty of time during appointments to explain everything. Great doctor!

i arrived at my appointment 3 min. late and was the only patient in the office for 30 minutes i was still in the waiting room after an elapsed time of 1hr50min 7 later appointments were seen immediately that came 30min after me when i questioned the staff the receptionist became rude and nasty i left this office and rescheduled with another Dr elsewhere the staff ruined my perception of this Dr.

I have never felt rushed in my appointments with Dr. Hodges. He really seems to care about my condition and making my quality of life better. I had given up on ever finding help until I met him. Now I have hope.
