Marini performed my husband’s colon surgery to remove a small portion of his colon that Repeatedly became inflamed., and we could not have asked for a more thorough and compassionate surgeon. From the very beginning, he was detailed in explaining every aspect of the procedure to both of us, making sure we understood what was happening and what to expect. After surgery, when my husband experienced quite a bit of bleeding, Dr. Marini return to the hospital and was incredibly decisive and proactive. He carefully monitored his hemoglobin levels and was ready to take him back to surgery if needed. he assured me, he would not leave the hospital until he was confident that his Bleeding was under control.Once he confirmed the levels were stable, he continued to watch him closely overnight to ensure there were no further complications. What stood out most was his empathy and communication. He took the time to speak directly and kindly with me, addressing my concerns and making me feel… supported during a very stressful time. His professionalism, attention to detail, and compassion made a difficult experience much easier to navigate. I had an appendicitis on New Years Day. I had surgery scheduled the following day with another MD I was not comfortable with. I contacted Dr Marini’s office immediately for a consultation and was taken in that day immediately after his review. Dr Marini was amazing in his approach and straightforward with information and education. My surgery was fast and my recovery was spectacular???? I’ve been an Intensive Care RN for almost 30 years and from my standpoint, Dr Marini and his staff were perfect in every way possible????
