Dr. Matthew Tracy Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson was my favorite physician. He took the time to listen to a patient. He was my PCP for years but he retired a few years ago. I haven't had a doctor like him, since. I miss him a lot. I hope he is healthy and enjoying his retirement. His office staff were always nice and friendly. I miss them, too! I hope you're all doing well.

My appointment was at 10:30am I arrived at 10:00am checked it after several minutes waiting while the lady was talking to someone about her date the night before. Then I filled out paperwork again as this was not my first appointment, they said we must have lost your file, that should have told me something then. I was not called back until 12:45 and then I had to wait again this time the wait was 1 hour 43 minutes I left at this point and will not return. My first appointment was 3 hours I thought this was a one time thing but I have learned it is not. This office and Doctor if you can call him that is a joke.

Very thorough, Professional, and listens to your concerns, answers questions you may have in a detailed manner. Is interested in what you have to say in regards to treatment and will gladly explain the pros and cons of all options. I have worked with many Docs in my career and have had te seek care from quite a few in the last 3 years. Dr. Johnson is at the top of the list with my Neuro doc and Surgeon, I would say anyone that can get him as an internist is fortunate.

The office staff is rude. They don't care how long you have to wait to either get an appointment or wait at the office for the appointment. Have waited over an hour just to get from the waiting room to an exam room and then another 45 minutes for the doctor. This doctor takes way too much time with patients, is inefficient and plays with his iPad and flips back and forth between the paper files to the laptop. He asks the same questions over and over because he has lost his place. If he is going to take 30+ minutes with each patient, then he should schedule his appointments accordingly. I am going to find another doctor.

OMG. I dont recommend this place....the staffs are rude...they will put you on hold on the phone everytime you call and they will hang up on you after you have been holding for 15 minutes...no joke..very unorganized. the manager doesnt know anything to improve the place. their phone system sucks....i swear..

I have always found Dr. Johnson to be extremely professional and helpful. However, getting an appointment can be problematic as you are usually placed on hold for extended period of time before you can talk to anyone.
