Dr. Matthew Franklin Kohlenberg, MD

I am terrified of doctors. My dad went twice in my life because he was scared of them, and that just carried down to me. I’ve had six other doctors before finding Dr. Kohlenberg. Dr. Kohlenberg is the first doctor I’m not afraid of. My son was born earlier this week and I want to be a better example to him than my dad was to me. When I saw Dr. Kohlenberg specialized in pediatrics I knew my son and I could share a doctor. I voiced my fears on my first appointment and Dr. Kohlenberg acknowledged them and calmed me. I knew we were going to be in good hands. You know how when you see four star reviews for doctors, more often than not the reviews read that the doctor is great, but the office staff is terrible? I’m happy to say that the office staff here is also top notch! They’re quick, kind and courteous. Excellent first and last impression for both visits I’ve had. I’ve dreaded doctors for 47 years. I’m so incredibly grateful that I found a primary care physician who will do his best to… keep me around for at least another 47 years.

He genuinely cares about patients, spends the needed time, provides education and information. You feel like you have a partner in your health.
