Dr. Matthew Kevin Kohlnhofer, MD

The worst experience ever with doctor. It's a shame that he's even allowed to practice at HMCL. Dr. Kohlnhofer does not care for his patients. He has ZERO COMPASSION, EMPATHY or RESPECT for patients and hospital staff. He walked in and out of my room without allowing me to express my concerns. I requested to speak with him questioning my discharge as I was unable to hold anything in, in severe pain and have hypotension, her refused to return to speak to me, refused to call me, he didn't listen to the nurses while he was sitting in thr unit, nor floor manager or house supervisor. He clearly doesn't understand what bedside manners are. I was told that he is just the same at HCA which is unacceptable. I'm actually a Methodist employee and wasn't expecting special treatment but now I understand why other patients have complained about him. He does not follow Methodist "I-CARE" values. He shouldn't be allowed to practice until he learns how to properly care about his patients.
