Matthew M Kosar, PT, DPT

As a former athlete, Matt understands the pressure and anxiety that come along with returning to sport after an injury. He uses this compassion to connect with all of his patients, whether they are returning to sport or to their job. Matt graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Science. Matt earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Delaware prior to receiving his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Delaware. Since graduating from Physical Therapy School, Matt has achieved Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy as well as in Sports Physical Therapy. He believes in individualized treatments with more of a hands-on approach to help facilitate each patient’s return to pre-injury activity level. Matthew uses patient education in his treatment approach so his patients can be informed about their conditions and to help promote self-management. During his free time, Matt enjoys golf, which has …led him to become Titleist Performance Institute Medical 2 Certified (TPI) and has made him more active in the local golf community to provide information on injury prevention and proper golf screening.
