Dr. Matthew Scott Kwai Tim Lau, MD

I went to Dr Lau with eczema and asked that we try to find the source of the problem. He offered me steroids and an injection, both of which only treat the symptoms of allergies and have lots of SIDE EFFECTS! I showed him studies that showed intestinal permeability (leaky gut) is the cause of a lot of allergies and eczema, and that there is effective use of probiotics, DAO supplements, and other things to repair the gut. He dismissed the studies, refuses to do anything other than prescribe pharma company drugs. Giving people medicine to cover up symptoms is keeping them sick while making drug companies rich. I found another doctor outside of Kaiser who told me that my eczema is from an unhealthy gut flora. She suggested I go gluten and dairy free, take probiotics, and some supplements to help with histamine intolerance, a disorder that comes from taking blood pressure medication, which I was on. It's been one week on the new supplements and diet and today, my eczema is… gone.

After many appointments still had no clue. Not qualified.
