Dr. Matthew Greg Lefferman, DO

"Via the office manager I made an appointment for my elderly mother, in order to meet the doctor for the first time and have him look at my mom who had recently fallen and had stitches and staples in her head as well as extensive bruising and pain. It was the exact day my mom was due to have her stitches out and I asked if the doctor would remove the stitches at that appointment. I was told he couldn't remove stitches due to liability. (That is an incredibly minor procedure so if he can't do that I guess he can't do much of anything.) So that meant I would need to make another appointment elsewhere and take my mom to have that done separately--so much for the "convenience" of having Dr. Lefferman visit, since I would have to just take my mom out to another appointment anyway. Nonetheless I decided to give the doctor a chance and meet him. That morning I re-confirmed the appointment and was told he would be there at 1:30. I took off in the middle of my work day to go be with my mom for… this appointment. At 2:15 when he still hadn't arrived to see my mom, I reiterated to both his office staff and his assistant that I had to leave at 2:40pm. I learned he had just arrived in the building and I asked if he could come meet me and see my mom before I had to leave at 2:40, so that I could meet the doctor and be present for his examination of my mom and hear his recommendations. I was told that he was choosing to go elsewhere in the building first, even though I had been told he would meet me at 1:30 and he knew I had to leave at 2:40pm. If you want a doctor who expresses care and consideration for patients and their families, and who can take care of routine basic medical needs so that you don't have to transport your parent to an office, I would look elsewhere.

This doctor doesn’t care about well being of your mother or father. He only wants to bill Medicare for as high as possible with looking at the patient or listening to their lungs. He will just sedate them with drugs and they will have multiple falls

I have had a lot of unpleasant experience with doctors but I have found Dr left for men to be very caring and patient with me and my husband. He is very knowledgeable, take the time to really listen and has made himself available for all the questions that I have about complicated medical issues that interact in difficult ways. I have felt better taking care of by him then I have since my health became an issue.

I am appalled with service and non contact with Dr. Matthew Lefferman. It is very shameful that the west side office is run but "medical Practitioners". When My mother was rushed to the hospital and needed a follow up, I couldn't get the doctor to call me. I don't think I was asking for much. The truth is, this doctor is really not taking care of the patients. My mother's condition was worsening and the practitioners had no idea anything was happening.I am very disappointed this doctors was recommended for a dementia patient.
