Absolutely no compassion or care towards patients. Atrocious communicator. There are way better urologists out there.

I have had issues with kidney stones for a couple of years. Dr. Lux recently performed a Ureteroscopy to remove kidney stones from both my left and right kidneys. I appreciated Dr. Lux's professionalism as well as his candor regarding my complex condition. Additionally I am grateful for his suggestions regarding modifications needed to hopefully avoid the development of future kidney stones. Thank Dr. Lux for your excellent care! Sincerely, Tina H.

Pros: +Promptness +Courteous Staff + Spot-on Diagnosis Cons: -Rushed visit -Did not answer all questions -Unfriendly I met with Dr. Lux briefly and received an accurate diagnosis of Renal Calculi (kidney stones) via x-ray analysis. The visitation was interrupted three distinct times by his mobile device, each time throwing off the pace of conversation. Dr. Lux was curt and although did answer basic questions, did not acknowledge my question when I probed for a more in-depth answer. The visitation lasted approximately 8 minutes and I left feeling unsatisfied. I later left a follow-up e-mail that returned a generic response. Ultimately my health provider assigned a new urologist to me and I am much more satisfied. My advice for anyone undergoing treatment by Dr. Lux is to be more aggressive in your questioning than I was -- you are paying for it and deserve to have every question answered. Repeat questions if you are not satisfied and tell him point blank you are… unsatisfied with the answer - I feel this is the only way to communicate with this particular specialist.

if you need a urologist find someone with more experience. this guy could not figure his way out of a paper sack!!

Dr. Lux is a highly qualified Urologist and did my surgery to remove my kidney as I was diagnosed renal cancer. I feel he did an excellent job and post op appointments afterwards to make sure the cancer did not return. One thing I wasn't so happy with though and of course isn't the most important quality is his bedside manner. Oh well! Can't always have everything!

I recently had a cystoscopy with Dr. Lux. I had a lot of anxiety going in, but Dr. Lux was reassuring and professional. The procedure went smoothly. Afterwards, he answered all of my questions and concerns. If you need this procedure, I would recommend him.

Dr. Lux was professional, courteous and very confident in his diagnosis!
