Dr. Massey is kind, competent and caring. He listens to his patients and and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and comforting. He sets a very high standard for his medical practice and he meets or exceeds that standard. I had a bimalleolar ankle fracture while on our family vacation which required urgent care and immediate surgery. Our children all live in the Asheville/Black Mountain area and highly recommended him! They called his office and sent him my xrays and an appointment was made. His medical staff functions and communicates very well and is always friendly and welcoming. There was no extended waiting at any of my appointments. My surgery was amazing and my recovery was ahead of schedule with very little pain. We live in Concord, NC and had to travel back and forth to my appointments. but we never regretted that time. Dr. Massey is an outstanding and compassionate ankle surgeon! He has been a joy and a real blessing to our entire family! It is… with a very grateful and thankful heart that I highly recommend him! I had plantar plate repair surgery with Dr. Massey in Sept. 2017. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure and recovery process. I highly recommend him on any foot and ankle problems.

I went to Dr Massey with toe pain. We decided on an injection which helped my toe pain very fast! I would recommend Dr Massey for any problems you have with your feet! Hey is very nice and listens to his patients.

I went to Dr. Massey in July with a broken foot. He explained what type of break I had and what to do to get back to normal. He didn’t downplay it at all, but rather expressed to me how important it was that I do everything to heal properly. I am very pleased that I am now, as of October, completely healed and back to my life, happily so! Dr. Massey is a personable and very competent doctor and I won’t hesitate to return to him if I ever have any problems whatsoever with a foot or ankle, etc. He is very professional and very knowledgeable and I am more than satisfied with having been treated by him. He repaired my achilles using the PARS technique that is minimally invasive. PARS cuts down on infection risk, speeds up recovery and leaves a small scar. I have only a 3 cm scar compared to the open surgery that leaves a huge scar and more risk for infection. 3 months out from surgery and back to some athletic activities. Dr Massey explained the process throughly and has stayed on top of my recovery. I have been very happy with the surgery and highly recommend Dr Massey.
