Dr. Matthew Mayfield, MD

Dr Mayfield is the best pediatric ortho surgeon in the metroplex. I work in surgery so i know all of the potential risks and i know how some doctors can be. I have friends that work with dr Mayfield all the time and everyone has nothing but great things to say about him. i felt very relieved that my son was being taken care of by an awesome doctor. My son broke his arm recently and dr Mayfield was very professional and he made me feel like my son was his only patient that day. After my son had his arm fixed,everytime he hurt himself he wanted to go see dr Mayfield haha because he knows he will make him feel better. The entire hospital staff at cooks is amazing. I just can't say enough great things about dr Mayfield. If you're looking for a pediatric ortho surgeon I highly highly recommend him and so would everyone else that's ever worked with him.

I had the chance to work with him during my clinical stay and he is such a pleasant doctor. I thank God for him!

My son went to see Dr Mayfield when he was only a week old, he that day started treatment and now after series of castings, 3 surgeries on each foot, and now in braces, my son at 3 years old is walking, running almost like any other little boy his age! Dr. Mayfield is an Amazing Dr and gave us hope, and made that hope reality when my son began to walk, we will truly be grateful and in his debts forever!!! I'd give a 5 star rating if it had that option!

Dr. Mayfield is a good doc and great with kids. My only complaint is that when you call, you can pretty much expect that his staff is not going to call you back. They display a true lack of care. The front office staff is great but his personal assistants are either overworked or just don't want to do their job. But as a doctor, he is the best, so what do you do... I choose to just deal with it because for my child, he is the best! I wish I could just call him when I need something and skip the girls that couldn't care less.
