Dr. Matthew Henry McClement, DDS

Dr. McClement is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. He takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and develop personalized plans that support both immediate needs and long-term oral health. Originally from Bellingham, Washington, Dr. McClement earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Seattle University, where he competed in Division I track and cross country. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from A.T. Still University’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Following dental school, Dr. McClement completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University. During his residency, he received advanced training in comprehensive dentistry, oral surgery, the treatment of medically complex patients, and IV sedation. He is certified to provide IV sedation, allowing him to help patients who experience dental anxiety …or require more extensive treatment feel safe and at ease. Dr. McClement has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in implant dentistry, oral surgery, dentures, and sedation. He maintains active involvement with professional organizations, including the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Giving back is an important part of Dr. McClement’s approach to dentistry. He has volunteered with the Arizona Dental Mission of Mercy and programs providing denture care to veterans. Outside the office, Dr. McClement enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through running, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.
