Dr. Matthew Carlos Mitchell, MD

Dr Mitchell himself is not bad, his staff is another story. Having scripts that have to be callled in 10 days ahead of time, then are not filled because they have no documentation that you called in the request. No feelings what so ever for you as a patient, and will never admit they may have made a mistake. Wonder how they would feel if their meds werent filled as needed.

A great colleague in medicine who understands people and treats them with kindness and genuine concern.

Dr. Mitchell is a very good doctor who takes time to review his patients medical history and looks at what that patient needs to help with their pain. He gives you as a patient what you need to bring your pain level down and I guarantee what he gives you for pain will relieve your pain. Don't expect to get overmedicated because all doctor's are very smart and know what it takes to bring your pain down. People with severe pain should know that when the weather changes our pain will increase but this is something we will have to deal with the rest of our life. I'm just learning that but we can't expect our doctor to adjust our pain medicine with the weather he has many things to consider to keep us alive at the same time, which is something I'm just learning. He and his staff are courteous and always on time which I appreciate!

I think dr Mitchell is an awesome dr. He tries his best to help u in anyway that's possible. I've been seeing him for 7yrs now & he always tries to find ways to help with my pain level. I'd refer everyone to him. If theirs neg comments about him it's prob because he wasn't just giving meds freely, because he starts off with tring other ways to help u before medicating u!!

You might as well talk to a tree. He doesn't listen and doesn't care. I wasted my time and money.

I have nerve damage in my leg. Dr. Mitchell implanted a spinal cord stimulator that decreased my pain to a more tolerable level.

Michell's bedside manner is a facade. If you vary in least from protocol, even if you discussed it ahead of time and got his tacit approval, even if you've seen him for years, he won't even talk to you about it. You're history. As I suspect with many doctors, Mitchell feels he's far superior to his patients, who are completely dispensable at his whim. I don't recommend him.
