Dr. Matthew Kam Yu Mo, MD

I have been dealing with severe insomnia and broken sleep for years, my insurance will only pay for specialist referred from my primary doctor. Due to my insomnia, I barely slept before my appointment, in a rush, I wore pajamas to my appointment. The staff refused to accept credit cards, said cash only, forcing me to walk 3 blocks to an ATM in the summer heat. The waiting room was unclean and not air-conditioned, I felt like fainting, so I removed my sweater. (I wore a baggy v-neck shirt underneath which was perfectly tasteful). The staff harassed me, yelled at me, and accused me of being s l u t, insinuated I was dressing seductively. I was berated and yelled at. The doctor didn’t listen to my concerns about severe insomnia, instead he focused on other issues. When I finally convinced him to give me a referral for a sleep study, the front desk refused to fax over my information and even refer to me as annoying. To this day they still have not faxed over the information after repeated… attempts to contact them.

Dr. Mo is very knowledgeable. I've visited him several times for various illnesses, and he has treated me well every time. He knows what is best for you, so you can always trust him. He does seem quiet at first, but when you get to know him, he can surprisingly be a very funny guy. The wait time is usually not very long, and the office is spot on with insurance billing. The Dentist here is great, too. I would highly recommend this doctor.
