Dr. Matthew Brant Mote, DO

Very unprofessional! Dr. Mote is very condescending, borderline rude and disrespectful he doesn't ever want to prescribe any of medications does not follow up his own referrals his attitude is like as if he doesn't seem to care. Has No understanding, caring, or compassion also his professionalism is an issue.

My first visit with this dr he mentioned reducing dosages. I refused to entertain because what I have is working. He will tell you he does not like to provide shots and certain medications. Prefers to send you to the pharmacy to buy over the counter items. Why would you pay a copay just to go buy your Sudafed at Walmart??

Was transferred to this "Dr" upon the retirement of my long time wonderful physician, Dr Michael David. I always give people a second chance. His nurse, formerly with Dr. David, convinced me to give a third chance and share with him my concerns and desires going forward. He refused to listen or entertain my concerns at all. His face grew flushed and he angrily told me to find another Dr. This quack refuses to look at his patients. He stares at the computer screen while he talks to you. He has the bedside manner of an earthworm - cold unfeeling and reptilian. He cut my anxiety medication dosage by 2/3 without even mentioning it, much less discussing it. It went from 90 pills a month to 30 per month. I'm now agitated and chewing my nails. The prior dosage had been working for me for 7 years, without side effects. That's just 1 of 3 unilateral decisions he made about my care that have negatively affected my life. Mote does not deserve a medical license. He has no Human compassion. I… personally know 10 families that have left his practice. Avoid this office at all costs.
