Dr. Matthew Thatcher Nugent, MD

I really appreciate the time with Dr. Nugent and the care he and his staff have given me. He always does an awesome job of explaining the options and what the best course of action is. He did a shoulder surgery recently on me and fixed multiple problems. He is professional, courteous, and personable. He did a fantastic job on my shoulder. He listened to what my needs were for my shoulder and made sure it would be repaired extremely well so I can achieve those goals. I highly recommend Dr. Nugent for anyone needing shoulder repairs. I'm a Veteran and Dr. Nugent went above and beyond any care I've gotten at the VA. Good man, and a great doctor.

I felt comfortable and felt I could trust him he explained everything in detail that I could understand I am 68 have had over 20 surgeries for crippling arthritis it and need more but I felt totally relieved with him wish all the other surgeries I could same the same all my other surgeries but a couple were total nightmares

I think he is a wonderful dr. I was well pleased with how he treated me with kindness, he was very easy to talk to, he explained everything to me

Absolutely wonderful experience. He was knowledge, kind, and honest about my situation. We live 2 hours away in Brookings, OR and he was well worth the drive.

It was the first time I had met with Dr. Nugent after several visits with the assistant. He explained thoroughly what the MRI showed of the shoulder injury. Very personable and offered recommendations that worked with my schedule.

Dr.nugent This man is very experienced his bed side manner is superb.he takes time with you answer all questions you have.very good surgeon.explains so you understand the procedure.i actually have worked in the medical field for over 22 years and been around a lot of doctors working closely with them. this man is great and I mean that he is great at his profession very is person to understand and great to work with on my shoulder surgery if I ever need a mother surgery this is who I will go to thanks Tim Fugate

Dr. Nugent is awesome! He’s approachable, very informative, and listens to your needs. Would highly recommend him to anyone with Knee problems.

I really like Nugent he's a no nonsense Dr That always give the best opinion/advice and doesn't sugar coat it. Just a great Dr and staff is amazing

I was impressed with the appointment completely. From the moment I walked in the building and how well it was organized. I really appreciated. The front help was professional and patient and kind. It was a very busy day, but it did not seem like that in the back. It seemed quiet and professional. More of a hospital setting than a clinic. I did not wait long for Dr. Nugent and was taken care of from start to finish. Very pleased.
