Dr. Matthew J Orland, MD

I miss Dr Orland. Finest physician we have had. Best care for my husband, listened, counseled, always there when we needed. Very professional, very caring, very knowledgeable, would give anything to have him back. I thought he had retired. Any news on that?

Dr. Orland is the most condescending Doctor I have ever met. He cared for 2 members of my family who were very ill...he shared confidential details I specifically asked him Not to share with my sickly family members. There was no valid reason to do this. Both were definitely difficult patients but he was seriously unhelpful to our family.

Extremely poor bedside manner - actually sarcastic, arrogant and rude - does not like to have questions of any manner asked!

Dr. Orland is one of the best doctors I've ever gone to. He is thorough, he listens and he is spot-on accurate with his diagnoses. He always calls me back -- even if it's after office hours -- or has his nurse get back to me. I appreciate his no-nonsense attitude. If you aren't going to do what he recommends, don't waste his time because he gets annoyed with non-compliant patients. I trust him, follow his instructions and am healthier than I've been in years.

"I went to see Dr. Orland. He was nice to me on the first visit but then he was a total cockbag to me on the second visit. He said that I was "wasting his time". He has the bedside manner of a mortician and I'm not going back. I could get better treatment in a gang fight. I'm surprised that he still has patients that are stupid enough to go see him. Wish them luck. I'm finding another doctor.

I was promptly aken in to the examining rom and treated with respect. The Dr. wasvery courteous and took the time to explain the situation. I felt like I wasreally taken care of by the Dr. and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Orland for over 10 years. Though his bedside manner will grow on you, he is extremely intelligent and really does care about his patients.

I have been with Dr. Orland for more than 25 years. My husband also sees this doctor. During a routine exam of my husband, the doctor noticed something on his ekg that bothered him. He immediately got an appointment with a top cardiologist. That doctor told us that most other doctors would have missed the problem on the ekg. My husband is lucky to be alive, thanks to Dr. Orland.

After an hour wait to see the doctor, he called my eighty year old grandma a liar. Also he told her to bring her previous exams along, so the hospital gave them to her on a disk. The doctor preceeded to tell her that when he could go out and buy a computer then he could look at them while he was sitting on the toilet, and threw the disks back at her. He also told her she needed a ultrasound done that day. After sitting in the waiting room for a half an hour, and the doctor seeing two other patients, he remembered to tell his nurse to get her an appointment for the ultrasound. By the time they got around to scheduling it, it was too late to do it. So she drove an hour back home very disappointed.
