Dr. Matthew H Otten, DO

I’ve gone to Dr Otten for about 5-6 years now for knee pain. He is very quick to diagnose and I feel very confident in his treatment plans. He has an amazing bedside manner. Is funny and straight forward which is exactly what I want from a doctor. I highly recommend him.

I have met with Dr. Matthew Otten several times about my arthritic left knee. Rather than suggest full replace surgery, he mentioned stem cell therapy. I finally decided to go through with it. Dr Otten is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I have ever met. He is never in a hurry and answers every question in a way anyone can understand. I had stem cells removed from my abdomen and placed into both knees on Nov 1 2018. The procedure was nearly painless and he and his staff were excellent. Dr Otten is a sports medicine doctor and I high recommend meeting with him before anyone else

Not an orthopedic surgeon, just a DO. Crude with his language, shifty with treatment. He told me he'd do PRP shots at cost, didn't mention he'd bill me for drawing blood, the ultrasound and the office visits. So what was the cost, the centrifuge? Insurance won't pay because it is a treatment whose efficacy has not been proven. He never gave me a specific diagnosis and when PRP failed he wanted to try growth hormone injections. I never plan to go back.

He knew exactly what was wrong and addressed the problem promptly. His bedside manners are the best.

I went to this doctore for PRP therapy. They told me my insurance did not cover the treatment and have me a price, which I agreed to. Then 2 months later they sent me a bill for $2000 and told me that there were other services not included in the original price. These guys are very shady and misleading. I would stay away and find a better practice. Plus their wait times are horrendous.

Dr Otten was right on with my diagnosis and spent time with with telling me how to fix my problem for the long term and short term. I heard him on ESPN and went to him after I saw him again on ABC. He was easy to talk to and gave excellent advise!
