Dr. Matthew William Pantsari, MD

He has the BEST bedside manners and will answer any questions you have with respect.

Dr. Pantsari is a good and gracious man and a fine physician. I was referred to him by Dr. Boone, another very good physician. Dr. Pantsari is humble in his approach to medicine. He listens carefully, asks questions, takes time to describe what he perceives to be the issue and then offers treatment options. At 73 years of age, I have seen a lot of physicians in my time. This man is superb.

Ok, so I haven't actually had a visit with the doctor, but I must say, the office support staff were absolutely terrible. First of all, it took me about 9 minutes and had to call them twice. Then, apparently, I was put down for the wrong day, but no one called me to tell me this. So I had to leave work 1 hour early (which I have to make up), travel clear across town, only to be told about the appointment mix up. And they even told me that the lady who did the scheduling was putting people down on the wrong dates. I'm like, then why would you have that person in charge of the schedule? And then why not fix it by calling everyone she put down on the schedule and double checking ("confirming") their appointment? Their clerical staff are NOT outside the box thinkers. Or they're not engaged in their work. So far, not impressed. Hopefully, the doctor is top notch. Tip for the day: call ahead and confirm the day of.

Dr. Pantsari took a good deal of time listening to my questions and providing information to help make an informed choice. He steered me away from an unnecessary procedure and was able to offer an alternative. The alternative ended up being the best choice. His concern for his patients is apparent and I felt he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Excellent doctor and would highly recommend. My only issue, which has nothing to do with Dr. Pantsari, is that when I followed up in his office to get testing results, a nurse came into the waiting room and began reading my results to me in front of the other patients. I stopped her and asked to go into a separate room, at which point she sighed like it was a pain, but did so.

MAJ Pantsari was the BN Surgeon for at the FOB where I was located during OEF IX. MAJ P (as he was known) gave first class care and was a true patriot...talk about someone that cared about Soldier, he would do whatever, whenever he could to help anyone and everyone, to include the Afghan nationals that came in for treatment. MAJ Matt Pantsari is a true professional and it was a sad day when he left Afghanistan to return to Tripler AMC. The Soldiers and patients at Tripler Army medical center are blessed to have such a talented and caring physcian in their charge.

Great dr. and an all around great guy. Spent personal time with me in excess of 45 minutes to try and collectively solve an abdominal issue. He is very passionate about his work and measures his success by your health. Very personable and absolutely refuses to fail
