Terrible experience with Dr. Pepper. No promised follow up and misdiagnosed my child. Look elsewhere if you value your child's health.

My children have both seen Dr. Pepper since my daughter was born in 2010. He always talks to the children at the visit and they like him. He either has a good memory or keeps good notes, since he seems familiar with their development over the years. He always asks if we have questions or concerns more than once, and is patient. When one of our child had a serious illness, he does call to follow up.

This doctor's inexperience nearly devastated our family. He sent our 1 day old baby to the hospital for extensive and invasive tests simply because the office oxygen test showed a saturation level of 97 instead of 100. Those tests are known for being inaccurate, especially on a baby so young. Dr. Pepper terrified us by saying he might have a hole in his heart or obstruction in his airway. As I was only 1 day postpartum, this sent my blood pressure way up and I had to be admitted to the hospital. Our baby was ultimately admitted also for an overnight stay and subjected to many grueling painful tests based on his recommendation, despite the NICU doctors finding nothing wrong with him. Our baby was perfectly healthy and fine.
