Dr. Peterson was very nice, but I can’t recommend First Urology. He’s clearly over-booked and over-worked by whatever private equity firm would buy an old Circuit City, and turn it into a doctor’s office. It took me over an hour on the phone to make an appointment because of their horrible and useless Ai phone assistant who couldn’t answer “when is your first available appointment.” I sat on hold, got hung up on by the first person who answered because I didn’t respond within the first 3 sec of her answering me, so I had to start over again from the beginning. The first appointment I could get was over 2 weeks out (mind you I’m bleeding every day). I get to the office 10 min early and had to wait over an hour to be seen by the doctor, who was in and out of the office in less than 5 min.

He is the worst doctor on this planet. He really needs to be reported and to stop practicing. He’s extremely rude and invasive with no bedside manner. He’s only about making money and cares nothing about his patients feelings.

Dr Peterson recommended a procedure and his office scheduled for me at 444 First St (Lou Surgery Center/First Urology). While waiting to go back I noticed every person was told they had a $225 copay. I thought it was strange that the clerk was quick to offer to bill them because most offices don't. I was told the same and I disputed and then was told I could have the same procedure done at Audubon Hospital for nothing out of pocket! Obviously that option was NEVER given to me when scheduled. BEWARE! I have notified the medical board and Medicare of the scam First Urology has with this facility.

He’s the best doctor in practice. Recommend by my family doctor. Excellent. Very kind, knowledgeable.

The guy that posted the bad review probably sits down to pee. He is that old pain in the neck that complains about everything. He really needs a proctologist more than an urologist. Dr. Peterson is a great doctor.

I trust Dr Peterson totally. I had cancer and at first a biopsy showed clear. With my numbers accelerating he scheduled a second bioppsy and it showed positive. He took time to tell me all the options, pros & cons. I chose robotic surgery with him and 1 1/2 years later i am still cancer free. Thanks Doc! Just tell your office staff to smile. Patients coming to them usually have a lot on their minds. They are professional. Just could be friendlier.
