Dr. Matthew Pizza was raised in Camarillo and attended Rio Mesa high school. He earned his bachelor’s degree at UC San Diego, and his dental degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. He spent two years in residency; one year at the VA at Penn, and one year at the VA at UCLA. He returned to Camarillo in 1998 and became a full time partner at Rosewood in 1999. He volunteers his time as a track coach at Rio Mesa and as a youth soccer coach and referee. He enjoys soccer, golf, paddle surfing, and cycling. He recently ran for the U.S. at the Masters Track and Field World Championships, earning All- American honors. He is married to Dr. Sham Pizza, and together they are raising four children here in his hometown.
