Incompetent doctor. Absolutely incompetent. Will be following up with the state medical board first thing in the morning. Beware of this man. He is sarcastic, he argued with me that there are no brown recluse spiders in Virginia and asked for my proof that there were. When I told him I was concerned about nerve damage due to the symptoms I was feeling and experiencing, his response was “what do you want me to do about it”. When I responded that I would go to another hospital he said “fine by me” and walked out the room leaving me sitting in shock with my 18 year old daughter who burst into tears because she was afraid something was going to happen to me. Unacceptable!!?

He was trying to discharge me before i was ready, I have POTS and needed to make sure i could stand up before i left, we had a brief discussion where he told me “facts dont care about your feelings” , so i guess his so called facts trump my symptoms?? And when I told him that I am an NP and i knew about the facts he told me i didnt sound like an NP because i made the statement “ I dont want to leave and turn right back around if my heart starts going crazy” His response was if your an NP you would know that “heart going crazy is not a medical term”. I could not believe it, here I am probably the sickest I've ever been in this doctor, who knows very very little about my medical condition is talking to me like this well kicking me out the door, he literally told me that if my heart was beating right or if I couldn’t keep my fluids down that I would just have to come back later. I actually went to this ED a couple of years ago for PVCs, at time he did nothing for me either.

Even vitals is not updated Thames is rude incompetent at Fauquier Hospital. Two sep visits one me one husband. Inaccurate DX CT scans on me showed lower ab appendix and G bladder fine. I have neither. Staff bored chatting on phones. All County residents agree drive to Winchester for real ER docs and decent triage treatment!!
