Dr. Matthew Ross Schulman, MD

I am so happy I found Dr. Schulman after doing months of research to find a reputable doctor close to my home in queens (he is located in Manhattan obv). I started following him on Instagram a few months before surgery as I found him bcus two girls I follow on IG got breast implants done by him. From the first time I messaged him on IG just for info before I wanted to make a consult, he was attentive and answered the same day. I saw his work from his postings and it looked good so far. After going through with the surgery for breast implants I realize he is the best doctor In the business!! The surgery was so seamless and was way less painful then I thought it would be. And now I have the breasts I always wanted!!! I get so many compliments and he prepared by ordering two sizes my surgery day so I could chose which size I wanted! It was worth every penny! I've seen many bad breast jobs while working as a bartender in gentlemen's clubs and there have been horrible jobs I've… seen. HE DID AN AMAZING JOB!! I would never go to another doctor.

I had liposuction and fat injections (brazilian butt lift) 6 months ago. I chose him because of his experience and also the results I saw online. I looked at all his reviews also and 99% of them were 5 stars. I am in the hospitality field and I know that it is never possible to have 100% happy so I never trust docs who don't have a single negative mark. Either way, he did right by me. My results are great and I know that things will get better. Dr Schulman is really friendly but is super honest. I liked that. He told me about the things that weren't going to get better on my body like the cellulite on my legs. His office staff was very nice and always answered my annoying questions. I must have spoke to them every day for a month before my surgery. Anyway, I am happy and everything was worth it to me. xoxo Sami

Review I cannot at all believe how I’ve been treated and HOW BIG OF A MISTAKE IT IS TO CHOOSE THIS PLACE. I had a review here earlier but wanted to update it with the fact that I was THREATENED via email and told that this negative review is a “deliberate campaign of defamation, libel, slander, and harassment has caused damage to Dr. Schulman's medical and personal reputation.” And “if you choose to continue to engage in this behavior, our team will certainly explore all options available to us.” Seriously? Dents, even MORE cellulite, and mottled scarring with LITTLE TO NO IMPROVEMENT is defamatory??? It speaks VOLUMES to be THREATENED FOR LEAVING A NEGATIVE REVIEW WITH PHOTOS TO BACK IT UP. And on top of that, ANY attempt at a Google review has disappeared/been removed. Below is my original review. Attached are photos, all of which shows THROUGH my clothes. Every time I look in the mirror I feel hopeless and regret everything in my life that brought me to this place. I… feel like devastated after having this BBL/lipo and I doubt anyone in Dr. Schulman’s office will lose sleep over that. They already don’t email me back and STILL haven’t emailed me BEFORE photos. I thought I found a place where the staff would be sensitive/supportive in terms of post-op, but I was wrong. I’ll preface this by saying I didn’t *have* to get plastic surgery but had struggles with weight fluctuations and wanted to improve the damage from this (irregular contours, etc.). I am 7 MONTHS OUT Feb 1 out from a bbl with lipo and held out hope after being told to “wait for improvement.” I thought it would be reasonable to see some kind by now but I just look worse. Like even a LITTLE improvement. How is that wrong? At the follow up all of my concerns were met with “you have to wait up to a year, things will settle, fat will shift” and eventually “everything was in the paperwork beforehand.” The dents in my thighs were “skin that’s tight and fat that needs to settle” into the gaps. Ultimately all Dr. Schulman repeated was “You don’t seem to want to listen to me.” And nothing else. It’s also taken over a month to get any email replies. Once you express dissatisfaction they will ignore you completely. I have bruise-like discoloration on my sides (to which I was suggested to use HYDROQUINONE by Caitlin the PA of all things, really???), a DENTED stomach, asymmetrical butt cheeks (one looks shelf-like, so top heavy), even MORE cellulite than before and dents on my thighs. It now SHOWS THROUGH my clothes. I am just at a loss and in a dark place mentally and feel completely invalidated. I don’t know how I’ll ever recover. I regret everything about this experience and Dr. Schulman’s office does not care PERIOD. Silly of me to think my well being mattered more than my money $16000.

I was referred by another plastic surgeon because my case was very tricky. I had some serious issues from an old cosmetic procedure I had about 15 years ago. The plastic surgeon I first saw to fix this was really experienced but told me it was too tough for him and that only Dr. Schulman was skilled enough to help me. I flew from another state so Dr. Schulman can examine me. He said he can help and also told me that it was very complex which I already knew. He was very honest about what he would be able to do and I appreciated that. The surgery was a success. I am not perfect, but I am so much better and my confidence is back. Dr. Schulman was a blessing and I am so glad that the other plastic surgeon directed me to him. Dr. Schulman says he can probably do another small procedure next year to try to get me even better. Aside from my father and my husband, Dr Schulman is the greatest man in my live.

I give 10 stars!!! The Dr. And his team were awesome and caring. They called to check on me and explained everything a couple times to ease my mind. The nurse was awesome for aftercare too. I look 110 percent better.

I had a mom make over and am very happy with the new body. The doctor and staff are wonderful. I am glad I choose him.

I am very happy with everything. Dr. Schulman did everything I asked and the pre-operative care and after care was excellent. I will use him in the future after my next child.
