Dr. Matthew Leon Silviera, MD

Dr. Silviera performed surgery quite adequately; however, I had a little-discussed side effect—and his team just blew me off about that. A year ago, I had some problems, made an appointment, drove six hours, and was told I had essentially wasted his time. So, recently, I had further problems. I called the office and explicitly noted that the last time I made the trek to see him he said I should’ve just called. Assured I needed to see him, I made another trip to see him. I checked in & waited a long time. I finally approached reception & they said my appointment was canceled after I arrived because I didn’t need to see him. I was allowed in to see a competent ostomy nurse, but the entire experience was ridiculous. Not heading there again.

Extremely knowledgeable and felt he took the time to research my medical history and test results to provide a very comprehensive approach to recommending what was best for my case. He was very communicative and had a great bedside manor.

Liked him very much. Was knowledgeable of my specific situation so knew he had reviewed my file. Have been to doctors that I felt had not taken the time to do that.
