MEET DR. MATTHEW SNYDER
           Dr. Snyder was born and raised in Bristol, Tennessee. He is the son of the late Dr. John C. Snyder and Pauline Snyder. Dr. Snyder’s father practiced general dentistry in Bristol from 1953-1974.Â
            Dr. Snyder graduated from Tennessee High School in 1975. He then attended Vanderbilt University and graduated in 1979 with a B.A. in General Biology. He was then commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy via the NROTC program at Vanderbilt University in 1979. Dr. Snyder served on board the USS Nimitz, the USS Coronado, and the USS Samuel Gompers. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Memphis Dental School with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He has continued to serve in the United States Navy Dental Corps and has been in the Naval Reserves for the last 30 years. He was promoted to …Captain                  Â
  in the Navy in 2008. Dr. Snyder began his private  practice in 1994.
 Dr. Snyder has two children. Sean age 22, attends Flat Ridge Community College in Blue Rock, NC. Luke, age 18, is a freshman at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Dr. Snyder enjoys playing tennis in his spare time and is active in the local tennis leagues of the USTA. He also enjoys following sports, gardening, and taking care of his lawn.Â
Dr. Snyder prides himself in provided the best and most current dental treatment available to his patients. He believes that doctor/patient time is very valuable and enjoys getting to know all of his patients on a personal level.  Â
MEET BROOKE GENTRY, RDA/OM,
 OSHA REP.
           Brooke has been with our practice since 2003 and she is very proud to have the opportunity to serve our patients. She is a resident of Kingsport, Tennessee. She received her high school education at Dobyns Bennett High School and her dental assistant training in 1996. She worked with a local Oral Surgery practice for four years prior to joining our facility. Brooke has a son Walker who is 8 years old. Outside of the office Brooke enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys running and being outdoors. She is a member of First Christian Church in Kingsport.
Brooke is in charge of all aspects of the front and operative areas of our office. She will be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have about our facility.
