Dr. Matthew Thomas Stich, MD

After several months of evaluations with countless visits and prescription meds he never contact me back for my cataracts surgery. He told me he was going to call me to set the date. After a week passed, I called him several three in two weeks, but never got a call back. I even called My Eye Dr office and left a message. That was 10 days ago and no return call. Dr Stich does not uses an administrative assistance and relies to run the office all by himself, which creates coordinating issues like this one and the exchange of medical data among medical offices. He's also always in a rush to get to the next patient, so it leads me to believe that he rather get the quick buck than spending time in more involved procedures.

I have been going to Dr. Stitch for several years. He is not warm and friendly, but he is knowledgeable, which is why I usually return. However, it is almost impossible to get in touch with him. His voicemail box is almost always full and he does not employ a secretary. When I am finally able to get an appointment, I have had to wait over an hour before he even addresses anyone I need the waiting room. On my last visit, in February, I waited so long that I asked for my records to be sent so I could find a different doctor. After signing paperwork and providing a photo ID, I left. 2 weeks later, no records, so I called back to get an update. The doctor said he would look and call me right back. It's been well over 3 weeks since then. I am paralyzed bc my new doctor wants my old records and my old records are being held hostage by inefficiency. Avoid at all costs, it's not worth it.

I've gone to Dr. Stich for several years and have been more than satisfied with his medical skills. His fast action and knowledge probably saved my eyesight.

SAW DR. STICH FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A VERY SERIOS PROBLEM. GOT AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE VERY SAME DAY AND HAD AN EXTREMELY THOROUGH EYE EXAM. HE TOOK MY PROBLEM SERIOUSLY AND IN THE END WAS VERY REASSURING. I WOULD RECOMMEND DR. STICH TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A KIND AND COMPASSIONATE DOCTOR.

This doctor is one that I would avoid like the plague, he has no idea what he is diagnosing and proscribes medications that will not work to treat the actual condition. Avoid at all cost

Do not go to this doctor. he is a one-man show. he failed to acurately diagnose my eye condition, but moresor, he did not seem to really care about my condition.
