Dr. Matthew Paul Swedlund, MD

I am a new patient to Dr. Swedlund. I have seen many physicians over the years due to family members with critical health issues and a few minor ones myself. Dr. Swedlund spent a good 45 minutes with me asking me questions and really listening. I was a little nervous because he is fairly young compared with my other primary Dr., of 30 years. I hope that the medical institution continues to not only produce, but to attract, people of character like Dr. Swedlund who care and take the time to explain (tangible explanations that apply in a person's life) conditions, medications, contraindications of treatments and what those mean to each individual. I also feel like he really cared about me and my individual health and well being. It's so nice to be able to write something positive about a healthcare provider. I am very glad that Dr. Swedlund is now my primary care provider.

I spent quite a bit of time researching doctors through UW as I was trying to establish with a new provider. I liked what Dr. Swedlund had to say in his into video so I scheduled. I was very impressed with the care I received! During my appointment I felt Dr. Swedlund had my full attention and was actually concerned and cared about what I had to say. He did not rush through the appointment and I actually felt like my care mattered to him, and I wasn't just a number.
