He is kind, caring and goes above and beyond to care for my husband. My husband was very difficult surgery and care needs.

Dr. Sweet was able to repair two accidentally injured veins - he did not stop with one vein and found the second injury. He stayed with me thru my recovery over many weeks and months. I can't find the words to explain my gratitude. Even when a fellow surgeon preformed a stent procedure, Dr. Sweet stayed in the operating theater, my heart rate went down he offers such reassurance.

After being examined in the ER my Mother was told that she needed surgery (Aorto bifemoral bypass.) At that time, she received a referral to Dr. Matthew Sweet. I went online and looked him up I also took the time to read both reviews to the right on this page. I am curious if the "rude, cold uncaring surgeon" was in fact THIS Dr. Sweet? Not a chance! From The minute he walked through the door into the exam room, he was VERY professional. Dr. Sweet explained everything to my Mother. As I sat in the room with her, I myself, had questions. My questions were welcomed and answered in detail. Dr. Sweet even drew a picture so that my Mother would be more informed before deciding on such a high risk surgery. Perhaps Dr. Sweet's only drawback would be that he looks very young, however once he starts talking you soon realize that he is full of knowledge and seems to have a passion for his work. (I have to admit that I had my Mother seek a second opinion from another Vascular surgeon because… well.... because shes my Mother.) I researched another Surgeon who is a well known national expert on vascular diseases. My mother and I went to visit him and we received our "Second opinion" it was identical to the opinion and the facts that Dr. Sweet stated. Dr. Sweet has a great, warm demeanor, light hearted when needed and he actually LISTENS... HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Very rude! Classic surgeon demeanor - cold and uncaring. Do yourself a favor and find another surgeon. There are plenty of others.
