Dr. Matthew Alan Taub, MD

Since I came to his office with my son, I felt very good, everybody there were helpful, friendly and nice. Dr. Mathew Taub very knowledgeable, compassionate and answered all my questions, I highly recommend Dr. Mathew Taub for everyone who are in need of a good oncologist/hematologist, you won’t regret it, believe me.

Worst doctor I have ever dealt with in my life. Dr.Taub does not care about his patients just about the money. I had gone with my mother because we were referred there by her primary doctor and the 1st time we went she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and Dr.Taub didn't show any type of concern or sympathy for my family. After we started seeing Dr.Katherine Diaz and she couldn't care less about my mother. She pretty much told us to start planning my mother's funeral because she was at stage 4 at this point. We left that horrible office and went to UM and they said the exact opposite, that my mom has hope to control the cancer. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY OR THEIR WELL BEING.

Dr Taub and his staff have been wonderful to us during this difficult time!

Called 27 times during office hours before someone actually picked up the phone. Was put on hold for over an hour. Only offered an appointment with PA. No thank you.

Don’t use gloves while accessing ports, don’t keep patients up to date with changes made in the office, inconsistent with prescriptions

My Mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and she started going to Dr. Taub’s office for treatments. Very quickly we learned that her insurance wasn’t going to cover the costly medications needed. I spoke with Daydene P.(office manager) and she was unbelievably helpful. She provided me direction and guidance on how to get the right coverage for my Mom. If it wasn’t for her I’m not sure how we would have been able to cover the payments. Daydene was so knowledgeable and terrific with sharing the information! Can’t thank you enough!!!

During my first visit, after been referred to Dr. Matthew Taub, I could appreciate the following characteristics: Competency. Ethical values. Excellent bed side manners. The office staff at Dr. Taub 's practice met my expectations. These are the reasons I have rated his practice as excellent.

The staff at this office is very rude and disrespectful and the office manager as well. This is an office for terminally ill cancer patients who should be treated with care and understanding. The front desk is constantly treating patients badly and in front of other patients. You can hear them giving patients on the phone attitude and uffing and puffing while the patients is trying to speak. When addressing the matter with the office manager she did not care and was also rude and hung up on me . This is not a way to treat your patients . I would never recommend this office to anyone I know. I am still waiting to hear back from the doctor going on a month now .

'Care' delivered by rude and insensitive PA. Terminal cancer patient hasn't seen Dr Taub himself in 5 months. Dr Taub is only there 2 hours a day 4 days per week. Good luck.
