Dr. Matthew Thomas Timberger, MD

I am a disabled veteran. I suffer from Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome and have since 1984. It seems whenever I go to an ER other than the VA I find it difficult to get the proper treatment. I am accused of being a drug seeker. I recently had 2 episodes within a few hours between incidents. The first incident I informed the Doctor about the procedure that the VA has determined the only way to effectively treat my condition, he paid no attention to me when I told him what works and did not prescribe the correct dosage of medication. I was back within several hours. Dr. Timberger heard me suffering in pain and vomiting from my cubicle and came in before I even saw a nurse. He listened to me and promptly treated me with the same actions the VA does. He was compassionate and listened to me. I recovered quickly because of the treatment he provided. I only wish more ER Drs. Would pay attention to patients with chronic conditions as Dr. Timberger did. most don't. I can't reccomend an ER Doctor… higher .I am very grateful he practices at this ER.
