I’m SO blessed to have such an amazing doctor in my town. Dr. Velsmid is ALWAYS so present, engaged, caring, knowledgeable, proactive and SO much more. His staff (Aivee, Heather and Dana) is also incredible. I always feel supported, heard and valued. Well done!!!

He's outstanding!

Extremely pleased with Dr. Velsmid. Just went through my annual physical and was extremely impressed with how thorough it was and on the follow-up took the time to sit down with me in his office and review all the results to help guide me towards better health. I have a heart condition at a young age so this is important to me. He pointed out my age is my advantage and provided input on how to do that. For those who say you were treated as a number, welcome to our healthcare system. Now that he is part of MDVIP, completely different experience.

All he cares about is covid testing. Does not help unless you submit - BAD BAD BAD. Try to find a REAL doc that doesn't read from his bosses script. (one that Thinks for Themselves and is in PRIVATE practice - not affiliated with Nuvance!! or any other like it)

The doctor looks at you like a number. Go anywhere else.

Listens and has an excellent patient manner!

I searched for years for a good primary care physician and by "good" I mean someone who truly listens to your concerns, asks relevant questions, is cautious yet proactive in any required treatment. Dr. Veldsmid surpassed my expectations. He is a great doctor and I also appreciate the other members of his practice. His office staff is exceptional. They are professional, but also put you at ease and actual look you in the eye when speaking to you. I see that as a sign of respect and very important in what can be a stressful situation.

I find him to be a very thorough Dr. And what I like the most is he takes time to explain things to you.
