Very impressive bedside manner. As far as explaining or answer questions,I would have a lot to say about that, he seems to avoid them. I am two months in the hospital and I still have no idea how much longer I will be here. I believe you’re Dr should let you in on treatment.

Dr. Voth was incredible. He makes you very comfortable and his bedside manner is second to none. He was very thorough in explaining my condition and options. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Voth is now practicing in Pittsburgh. I felt compelled to write a review because of how traumatic an unexpected anal abscess was, and knowing how helpful an online review would have been to me at the time while desperately looking for surgeons. Dr. Voth lanced my abscess after unsuccessful attempts by other physicians, all the while guiding me through what to expect, what was going on, with excellent bedside manner. I ended up having a partial fistulotomy done over a month later due to the wound not healing completely, along with experiencing constant drainage (fun). Despite a very traumatic and stressful period, I am now pretty much healed within a short period of time. I had a number of doubts about my recovery (concerns associated with fistulas) but Dr. Voth certainly demonstrated a high level of competency, and my confidence in his treatment was confirmed by my recovery. Very grateful!
