Dr. Matthew George Wagner, MD

Dr Wagner treats patients with respect. This is very important when trying to trust a psychiatrist with your personal thoughts and feelings.

I have asked him to leave my beside and never visit me again if I came into hospital. If they Quacks don't know what is a wrong with you they also send in a Crazy Doctor and this is what happened. God forbid I was having a seizure!

Dr. Wagner was quick to prescribe prescription medicine(which is normal). I had to ask if any tests could be run to confirm that no physical symptoms were contributing to my mental state. He told me he would have a thyroid test administered. Since, I was inpatient, he had ample time to do said test, but failed to and failed to follow up on his folly after I had left. It took me about two weeks to get ahold of him to ask what the results were( that was when I found out it wasn't administered). After the test was done, and the results were faxed over, I heard nothing from Dr.Wagner. I called and he told me they had not received them. Shortly after he called and simply said my results were normal. No explanation, no possible further testing, no apology. I was under his care as a result of a botched suicide attempt. All in all I felt little effort shown, which is also common in his profession, but given the neglectful unethical behavior; I give two thumbs down.

Dr. Wagner is a helpful clinician, he is clear, supportive, and competent. I felt the diagnosis, treatment plan and follow up met my needs. He came across as kind, which was important. He was helpful and put me at ease while breaking down the steps to my treatment.
