My husband I have been patients of Dr.Matthew Wert for over ten years. He has always gone above and beyond to help us. His staff is friendly and efficient..The office is very modern and clean. He makes sure all the time needed is given to a patient .He is a very caring person. We are blessed being in his care..Thank you Doctor and your wonderful staff. A friendly,efficient staff is reflective on a doctors caring..I have and will continue to recommend Dr.Matthew Wert for excellence in all areas of professionalism, surgical and medical expertise with friendly, kind human-ness????

Dr. Wert is warm, attentive, has a great sense of humor and superb in his surgical abilities. He reconstructed a broken ankle bone so that I would be able to walk and with a colleague did skin grafts when the wound was not healing properly. He is a rare find and to be cherished.

I never saw Dr Wert nor did I make an appointment. The phone number listed doesn't work. I tried two of his office numbers and got into a loop and never spoke to anyway. it shouldnt be that hard to make and appointment so i gave up.

Very professional, very knowledgeable and a great specialist. Excellent front desk staff, especially Viktoria. If you have a problem, they will fix you up.

The quality of care I received was outstanding from start to finish and beyond. From my first appointment to physical therapy Dr. Wert has been concerned every step of the way. He explained everything about my surgery beforehand and even showed me the video of my actual surgery after. His staff is professional and attentive. I have already recommended him to friends and family. This is a doctor you can trust.

Dr. Wert and all staff were kind, timely, professional and efficient. I was given a plan to follow that was comprehensive and nobody pushed for unnecessary procedures/ testing, which is important to me. Dr. Wert spent a good amount of time with me and made sure I understood exactly what was going on in my body and showed genuine care/ concern. I will definitely recommend him to others and be a return patient.

Do not waste your time with this doctor. Although he tries to be charming I was not there to be charmed. I was there for help with my knee and his only opinion and recommendation was that of surgery without explaining why it was necessary. The office staff is not professional or knowledgeable and sometimes rude. The wait to see the doctor is unreasonably long. Highly disappointed.

The first time I went to Dr. Wert, I was waited for an hour. I had major pain in my left knee to the point where I couldn't walk. After spending a few minutes with me, Dr. Wert sent me to get an X-ray to see more than in my MRI. I took a cab, I got the X-Ray and came back. I waited exactly 2 hours until I could see him again. I left him without a clear idea of the surgery that I needed. The next week he was supposed to give me an injection, but he forgot the injection materials in his other office, so it was postponed by a week. Because this injection with gel didn't help me, after 2 weeks he gave me another injection, with hyaluronic acid. Even though he saw how much I was suffering, instead of using an approved efficient product, he used an experimental one that didn't help. He told me that after that he can't do anything for me, only surgery. In addition, I asked him for the medical report (easy to do it! exclaimed Dr. Wert) and the fees estimate for the surgery as requested by… my insurance. He promised me that I would receive this the same week. After 7 weeks, in spite of my phone calls, I didn't receive anything. Every time his nurse told me that they are working on it, and the 5th time she asked me to call the hospital directly. When I called the hospital, a woman told me that the medical report should be provided by Dr. Wert, but that she would send the fees estimate to me the next day. She never did it, and I gave up. During all this time, I had serious pain in my knee, I was limping, and I developed pain in my spine and the other knee because of the imbalance. Desperate for relief, I went to another doctor. That other doctor's help allowed me not to limp any more. For the surgery (knee replacement) with the new doctor I had the information for my insurance company in 2 hours. Unfortunately, now I need injections in my spine as a result of the delayed treatment by Dr. Wert. Dr. Wert, even though he appears charming, doesn't respect his patients, didn't care about me, and was not professional and responsible. I strongly recommend that prospective patients see someone else.
