I would give zero stars for this Doctor. He will not give out prescriptions (the new rule here in Colorado stating we have to have a prescription for Covid vaccine started end of Aug 2025) because he Never believed in them, that is what his front desk staffers said.But they give the flu shots there, really? Plus my husband and I are in our late 60’s and my husband has Diabetes. So this guy lost our respect for putting his own political and social beliefs over his patients safety. Very Medically unethical. So for your own safety Stay Away from this place. Don’t waste your time here because I’ve read that private doctor’s offices get away with whatever pleases them vs larger health care providers. Stay healthy, get your vaccines

All the doctors I see in the Springs struggle with their staffing, but ultimately you want the best physician in the field, and he really is the best. He has many honors and awards (civilian and military) that you won’t even see posted in the waiting area. His diagnostic instincts are fabulous. Awesome bedside manner. Remember, most people come to these sites to complain, so a high average rating is actually a true compliment.

I've never had a more thorough physical exam. Dr. young is a true diagnostician which I find rare as medical care changes at such a rapid rate. His office staff was very professional and patient. I am so thankful that I was referred by a friend to try one more doctor!! I was doubtful that there were still competant doctors that were not pressured by the system at the expense of patient care. His dry humor and willingness to listen to all my concerns was an unexpected surprise.

Dr Young was my main provider for over a year. He had tests done, he prescribed me medication, he gave me the time to ask how I was doing and really seemed to care. After seeing him for some time one of his staff, Payton, was extremely rude to me one day in front of other clients. I swore I would never go back. I got a new provider and began to see a psychiatrist. I do take alprazolam which under Dr. Young's care he prescribed me never knowing I suffered PTSD. After almost a year I realized the psychiatrist was of no help and I missed Dr Young. At no time were any of these doctors prescribing the same medication at the same time. I was looking for a good doctor to help me. I eventually went back to Dr Young. Who told me I was doing really well. I had come down on my alprazolam which was my goal. Payton was still there and threatened me with not switching pharmacies. I had switched pharmacies due to logistics but this is no longer allowed. A lot of changes regarding controlled… substances not shared with the patient. Anyway after one visit, the doctor never said a word besides how well I am doing, I received a letter the doctor will no longer see me due to prescription abuse. I am so scared. The two times I have tried to stop the alprazolam I have ended up in the hospital. And why was Dr Young not honest with me? Why did he say I was doing well? My family is frightened I will have a seizure and this time go into a coma. Is this how the doctor cares for his patients?

Have been a patient of Dr. Young for 8 years. Have always been pleased with his personal attention to multiple health issues, and have confidence in him personally as a health care professional However, in recent months, staff has failed miserably in answering phones, returning calls, calling in prescriptions, or getting prescription renewals approved. Pharmacy cannot even get a response from his office to get a prescription refilled. Consequently prescriptions have gone unfilled due to lack of response from doctor's office. And daily calls to the doctor's office for the past week have not resulted in a single personal conversation or the courtesy of a return call.

Dr. Young and his office let me know that they were moving. He has been my dr for approx ten years. He truly has done for me what some specialists didn't.

Young closed his practice in Woodland park without letting patients know in advance so my husband went for his appointment and the office closed that day leaving without even caring for him.

Dr. Young stays current on medical information. He always spends time listening to issues and questions. We trust his brilliant mind to research all our medical questions. We appreciate and thank him for all our care.

the spinal cancer he said i have, not. a "working's man back", from a spinal specialist. he said my wife had a form of fatty liver that only 12 people have ever been diagnosed with. if you want to have something wrong with you, this is your man.

Utter chaos at front desk, assistant nurses so under qualified.
