Dr. Matthew Cloer Zimny, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Zimny for the past 3 years with average reviews. However, I am shocked at the disregard for patients he has shown recently. I recently moved to another state, but drove two hours to keep my appointment with Dr. Zimny. Upon arriving I was told that I had a bill to pay and would not be seen by Dr. Zimny until it was paid in full. I had no knowledge of this bill prior to walking into the office and even asked about payment when I scheduled the appointment. Despite the fact that the office admitted to mistakenly putting the wrong address in the system (which explains why I hadn't received a bill or any letters from the office) and admitted that I was told there was no payment due when I called to schedule the appointment, Dr. Zimny still insisted that I reschedule. I requested to speak with him directly and the office staff asked him on two different occasions if he would at least come out and speak to me about the mishap because I drove such a far distance...… he still refused. I have never felt so disrespected by someone who is supposed to be entrusted with my healthcare and livelihood! I have been his patient for 3 years and never had these issues. He doesn't have the best bedside manner, but he hasn't been blatantly disrespectful and unprofessional. I am just grateful he showed what he thinks of his patients when I was in good health and not when I could not advocate on my own behalf. If Dr. Zimny could not even take a moment to speak to me about the mistakes of his office, during the time of my scheduled appointment, than what is he capable of when I am actually in dire need?!

Great experience with Dr. Zimny and his staff. Dr. Zimny pays attention to detail and always takes whatever time is necessary to explain any information that needs to be understood. I would recomend Dr. Zimny without the slighest hesitation.
