My daughters mother was taken aback with Dr. O'Connell; however, based on reviews I wanted to further evaluate. My daughter just started an ADHD medication and is learning virtually at her grandma's. the doctor was unwilling to meet virtually to continue her medication. I explained that she is 4 hours up north and the response was drive 8 hours round trip. I wrote a very professional response requesting consideration. I received no response, just a notice of cancellation. While Knowledgeable her demeanor lacks empathy and is rigid.

I recently started taking my 13 year old daughter to this doctor and we couldn't be happier with her! She listens, spends time, and explains everything. We didn't wait long and I was very impressed by the amount of time she took with us....most doctors these day rush in, and rush through appts with one hand on the doorknob. She is also very thorough.

Dr. O'Connell is an amazing doctor! Shes outstanding with all 3 of my kids! Shes sincere, she truly cares about the kids! She came in on her day off because my youngest was so sick; I was so scared.. She eased my mind and made sure my son got the treatment he needed! I believe you have to fully trust your pediatrician & with her I've found that! Im satisfied when i leave her office!

She is Amazing, she is honest, accurate, dependable, professional, while still putting your kids at easy. On a 4 Star Scale I would give her 5 Stars

Dr. O'Connel has been my daughter's pediatrition for 7 years and she is an excellent doctor. Her bedside manner is outstanding. She explains every step with my daughter. She is really good with kids, my daughter loves her!

She really listens to the concerns and is totally honest, even if it's not what you want to hear. She takes the time for extra questions about raising children and best of all; she has 3 young children so I feel a real connection to her. She's a real person, not just a doctor and gives real life advice. Her office is also amazing! The reason I left my last ped. is because of the wait. I've never had to wait more than 5 mins in the waiting room, the staff is great. I've been with her for 6 years and wouldn't go anywhere else!
